Peacetime Propaganda is proud to be involved in Austin Furniture Depot’s generous pledge to the Susan G. Komen foundation in the fight against breast cancer. Five percent of all profits in the month of October will go towards breast cancer research.

We’ve donned the Austin’s Furniture Depot logo with the signature pink ribbon this month.
Austin’s Furniture Depot’s entire website was also designed and developed by Peacetime Propaganda during the summer of 2012.
Peacetime Propaganda is proud to introduce the completely redesigned website for Austin’s Furniture Depot – a new and consignment furniture store in the heart of Austin, Texas.
From the outset, we knew we wanted this site to be representative of the shop’s laid back and eclectic character. Virtually every element of the retro-inspired design and layout is custom.
“New, Used & Weird”, the shop’s aptly chosen tagline and motto, naturally became the site’s core navigation structure. This allows the customer to easily and intuitively find whatever it is they seek – a shiny new leather sectional, or a gently used paisley recliner circa ’79.
Lately we haven’t been able to devote as much effort to finishing Peacetime Propaganda – we’ve been too busy with actual work (always a good thing). Peacetime is currently designing a web site for an awesome local furniture consignment shop here in Austin, TX. The clients loved the concepts, and now it’s full steam ahead into the CSS layout and crucial-code-tinkering phase.
